  Testimonials

2008 - In my capacity as media director, I have worked with Mark over the past 10 years promoting the Zion National Park and St. George, Utah area. Mark’s understanding of a vast and diverse product and a broad tourism market has been a huge source of assistance to our office. His experience and expertise in web, print and television marketing and how it works best with our tourism product has been invaluable. Mark is a knowledgeable resource, a valuable asset and not to mention a fun guy!
Roxie Sherwin - Marketing Director / St. George Area Convention and Visitor Bureau

2008 - We have worked closely with Mark Wade... on marketing and promotion for The Village of Many Nations, located at the East entrance of Zion National Park.  Mark is part of the reason why our reservations are up over 800% in just three years since we opened the Village.  Because of Mark we have entertained writers who travel from all over the world and have received numerous positive press and advertisement.   Mark Wade has always followed through with whatever he said he would do for us.  More important, he understood what the Village represented to us and the Indian culture, plus he cared about this project and had the vision to see what the possibilities held for this undertaking.  We are forever in debt to Mark for the years of service and friendship he has provided to us personally and professionally.

2008 - It has been fun watching you... bring your marketing expertise to the forefront of tourism.  You have used that marketing skill to benefit so many tourist-based businesses, including mine, ATV & Jeep Wilderness Tours.  I feel that without your help my business would have died of loneliness in cyberspace.  You helped me refocus my efforts in marketing, helped in identifying my client-base, and presented my business very effectively on the internet. The results have been tremendous! We set up the Guides and Outfitters Association for Washington County.  There were 34 individuals and business at that first meeting that were so ready for a coalition of tourist-based businesses within the context of the unique beauty of southern Utah.  Together we produced our first brochure, an awesome web site, and a guide book for hotel front desks. The network of hotels, restaurants and activities still exists today and offers our clients a wide range of reasons to "stay and play".  Your solid understanding of the tourism business and the methods you employ to maximize exposure in the marketplace are valuable assets.
Thanks! - Jim Clay / ATV & Jeep Wilderness Tours

2008 - Five years ago we approached Mark with our plan to build a unique bed and breakfast (Inn) on the edge of the Grand Staircase National Monument in Utah.  For two and half years Mark consulted with us and assisted us in developing a business plan, including a marketing plan, and even writing letters to financial institutions in support of our efforts. Our dream finally became a reality and by following Mark's marketing plan we had a surprisingly good first year of business. We are nearing our second year of business and it has been exceptional.  We have had more compliments on our web site than we can count. Mark has worked with marketing for scores of lodging operations and he clearly understands the dynamics of the tourism industry.  We liked his ideas so much that we even used his recommendation for our name - "Slot Canyons Inn".
Jeff & Joette Marie Rex - / Slot Canyons Inn

2008 - For the past eight years Mark has been heavily involved in the development of a marketing program for Zion Mountain Resort. During this time we reaped the rewards of steadily increasing our marketing budget.  In the past three years our business has grown at a remarkable rate of about 30% per year.  Mark has a firm understanding of all aspects of marketing, including; print advertising, public relations, and especially internet development. Beyond this, we enjoy how positive and professional he consistently proves to be.
Kevin and Stacy McLaws - Zion Mountain Resort

2008 - Mark is a valuable resource for tourism marketing.  He understands how to work with travel writers and travel professionals and has used this knowledge to benefit our company.  He is a ready resource for new ideas and for practical methods of increasing business. He understands the dynamics of developing and implementing new programs.  We have worked with Mark in developing our outdoor adventures, canyoneering, climbing and mountain biking operations. We at Zion Rock and Mountain Guides and Bike Zion would highly recommend Mark’s services to anyone in need.
Travis Tomlinson - Zion Rock Guides

2008 - I have worked with Mark over the past 15 years in various capacities. Our first contact came when he was the director of tourism for the five southwest counties in Utah (early 1990's). Mark handled a large marketing budget and traveled the world (frequently with me) promoting tourism for Bryce and Zion National Parks, Lake Powell, and the surrounding region.  Among other things, Mark conducted familiarization tours, worked with travel writers, placed advertising, represented the region in travel and trade shows and significantly increased the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.  In more recent years (as a consultant) Mark assisted us in building a detailed internet site and helped our county to attain high rankings in the search engines.  He also identified many very successful methods to send traffic to our site (tripling the number of visitors to our web-site).  Mark has an excellent understanding of the tourism industry and a proven track record of leading tourism organizations and businesses on a very successful path.
